Eagle Corner – Ford
The worst Ford dealership in SA. Eagle corner can, as far as i am concerned, take their “service” and shove it! They do not care about the customer. They do not care about service. Eagle Corner is the benchmark in what a dealership should not be!
A mate of mine used them a lot for services to his car. This is not exactly out of choice but because every job done by eagle corder causes something else to break and then cause to car to go back again. They can not even render a basic service like over seeing a paint job. some minor scratches turned into a big patch of paint peeling off AFTER the fix. Is something not suposed to be better after you fix it. Oh but at eagle corner things work a little different. You see customer is not king. They will tell you what to do, and you are bound by their rules, whether you are right or wrong in your claim. This image was taken at on a friend’s farm about 500km outside of Johannesburg. It is one of the best places to clear my mind when the view of the world becomes hazy. Seeing as how much I love hiking this is an amazing place to do some walking as well. This is a rather large piece of land, so doing a 20 mile hike in some of the most beautiful parts of south africa is easy. It is all the fresh air far away from the city. The city with all it ’s noise and the buzz in my mind 24/7 can some times get to much!

Motorcycles, Fast and flashy cars, painting the town red almost every chance i get. But then also:
Hiking in the pure beauty that Africa has to offer. Diving in the ocean and seeing the largely untouched and unpolluted part of nature under water. The study of cultures, both local and international. Travel to all the corners of the world. When i have a chance and money of course i love to travel and experience other cultures. I try to see at least one country a year. We get so wrapped up in our own little lives. Sometimes on the internet you can get a glimpse of what other countries are like, but that is only teasers. having the Experience in real life is what it is all about! Seeing another culture living life their own way, and then learning about it brings massive joy and pleasure to me. Understanding the way that others experience life, and the whole science behind it fascinates me!

That is pathetic!!!
They are the exact opposite of Lazarus Ford in Centurion. I’ve got a problem with a posible sticking clutch slave cylinder so I phoned Jakes on Thursday who said no problem, I can bring it in today(Saturday) and they’ll check it out.
Took the car in and they bled the clutch and guess what? They didn’t even charge me a single cent for it!!!
The clutch seems okay now but I’ll have to do a bit more mileage to know for sure.
So now that the clutched is fixed… do you think you can take me on in a 1/4 mile run?
Yeah It is like i said, Eagle Corner Ford is the worst excuse of a dealership. From what i have seen, they have no idea of how to treat consumers. For them, the “extra mile” is only something that you do with a customer’s car when driving around, and nothing more than that!
Lazarus Ford on the other hand has only given me joy. I will recomend them to any one driving any of their vehicles, be it Ford, Jaguar or landrover. They live to please the consumer. They go out of their way to make things easier for you.
The question is rather – do you think YOU can take ME on?
I agree – Lazarus is exceptional and they know the ST club is watching them so they can’t afford to slip up.

What makes you so confident? My clutch won’t let me down again this time and even if you do gain 3m on the launch I’ll reel you in like a fish.
If that doesn’t work I’ll have to fit the TC kill switch…hehehe. *evil grin*

to make it fair we can again make it a rolling start. i will be on 3k rpm (that is 4k away from my power band), you can be in any rpm range you like.

How do you expect to beat me on a rolling start with the same car?
The only way to beat me would be on a standing start with a good launch because once the cars gets going, most, if not all things are equal.

It like this. I ride my gixxer, you ride your ST. You can ride any rpm range you want in the ST, I will even go as low as 3K RPM. And we all know a gixxer only become a gixxer at 8 or 9K RPM. (V-Tech just kicked in yo!)
